80% of my online interactions leave me feeling worse about myself lately. like 1# said people def got meaner during covid, but in the past year or so, it’s gotten genuinely absurd.

yes and i 10000% blame lockdown and social media like no one knows how to interact properly anymore esp in person

with the decline of media literacy + the “nobody owes you anything” mentality from social media, people have DEFINITELY gotten meaner

hard retweet, the mentality of “it’s okay to be selfish” and “I don’t owe anyone anything” have created a lot of people who just don’t care about others
