Beyond working out, what you eat is super important, and I don’t even necessarily mean weight management! How and what you eat impacts everything, your gut health, your skin, your brain power and focus, your physical energy, your mood, etc. All of which contribute to a confident and happy individual, which is always more attractive than physical appearance alone! But eating right you may see physical improvements too :)
find some form of exercise that you actually enjoy!! going to the gym can be helpful for some people, but not everyone actually enjoys doing it. if you can’t stay constituent with exercise because you hate what you’re doing, it won’t serve you in the long run anyway. swimming, biking, hiking, etc. can all be great options. mine was actually horseback riding! it’s all up to you
if your school has a dance program, maybe they offer classes you can take for fun? or maybe there’s a student organization that does it? i’m at a pretty big university so we have those resources but i know not everyone does. something else that i’ve enjoyed recently is just going on walks with my friends! it’s low impact and it’s so much fun to catch up while you do it. distracting myself by talking through it helps me keep walking for a lot longer too, like twice what i’d usually do.
Like 1 said, look into dance clubs/orgs/classes at your college! Otherwise I honestly watch old just dance videos on YouTube to workout to. I’m a big fan of home workouts too - between Madfit and Yoga with Adrienne, I’ve been really seeing some progress. I also go for a walk after dinner every night, and I’ve kind of become addicted to that routine tbh!
Also, have a hobby! A passion! Dive into something that you’re interested in, it makes you interesting! Not only does being passionate about something make you more attractive, but it makes you smarter, more disciplined, and inclined towards personal growth, not to mention happier because it’s something you like doing. As someone who’s struggled with depression, this is something I’m really trying to be intentional about!
