Make sure to dry the inner part of your lips before application. Back in the 2010s when Matte was the staple it was referred to as “butthole lips”

I put a matte lipstick on, and part of my bottom lip is darker because of saliva I think. I didn’t know if this is always what happens or if it means I put it on wrong.

My lips are pale af so it may look like normal color to some people. But this lipstick is actually really dark on me.
