I’ve been with mine for 5 now, there are definitely cycles in my experience. But at least for us we always go back into a honeymoon phase after a deep talk or working through something we’ve been dealing with. However my partner pretty much consistently puts in a great deal of effort so yours needs to pull his weight to get out of that rut together

My best advice is to keep dating each other like how you did in the beginning, but again that’s probably going to mostly fall on him to make that change
