Chatgpt isn’t *as* bad for the environment as some people would have you believe, but the big problem for therapy is that it‘s programmed to be over-validating and a super comfy experience instead of pointing out room for improvement, which is one of the most important parts of therapy
If you have insurance, there are options online (like Talkspace) that may have a $0 copay. If you don’t, I would recommend using chatgpt as more of a search engine to look up “point me in the direction of coping skills, worksheets, and thought exercises available online that are typically used in therapy to deal with X” instead of just venting to it. Good therapy is less about venting and more about proactively coping with problems via your own work, even if they are not your fault
Well I have already told mine b not to just agree with everything i say and it’s boy even like stuff to agree with it’s just me like expressing how I feel and something listening and replying. Like I get that part but I don’t even think the things im bringing up are part of that if that makes sense
