How to get an eating disorder? What are the triggers I should look out for? My roommates been acting questionable recently and I’m concerned but not sure if it’s what I think it is

This sounds like you’re asking for ways to develop an ed, which makes me concerned that you might me looking for tips on how to “improve” if you have an ed already. Not saying that’s what you’re doing, just saying (from personal experience) that that might be what is happening. You’re questions are just worded odd

Don’t comment on her weight or her body literally at all ever. Compliment the things she can change- her hair, her outfit, her shoes, her smile etc (not that you can change your smile but I find that to be a very sweet thing to say about someone) and invite her whenever you go to eat you could mention softly that you noticed she hasn’t really been eating much if she’s under portioning when you eat together and asking if she’s okay but I wouldn’t really push it further than that bc (1/2)

Ultimately you’re her roommate and not her therapist or dietitian
