thinking about the time i was interviewing for a job at a gymnastics gym in college and dropped the name of the gym i went to in my hometown and got the job immediately bc of our reputation 😭 i mean i understand we genuinely were one of the best

it’s just bc we had really high standards lol a lot of gyms let girls compete skills even if they can’t do it with proper form so they’re just asking for deductions. my gym wouldn’t let you compete the skill until you could consistently do it flawlessly. mess ups happened ofc but they were rare for us and it showed at comps. individually i was great too multi time state team member and regional floor champ a few times too. was one of the top in the nation for my level

like dont discredit yourself by saying it was the gym’s reputation this would be an incredible feat regardless of the gym
