“Just eat less and exercise more!” “Just eat more!”
Cool, glad that works for you. Doesn’t work for everyone. Everyone’s body is different. Quit judging other bodies, especially when you don’t know it and don’t live it. That simple.
Literally. No one that’s never struggled with overeating understands how difficult it is to stop or what food noise is like. They’ve always been able to just stop eating when they’re full.

PREACH. I’m still trying to figure out my own body, but I sure as hell know the whole “just exercise more and eat more nutritiously” advice isn’t what I need to hear when it’s more complicated than that for me.

I feel like I have no concept of satiety and it’s constant food noise. Even with better self-control now, exercise leaves me feeling physically sick with my chronic fatigue still being figured out. I wish I could enjoy it, but I physically cannot handle it.

Exactly!! I’m glad it works for some, but it doesn’t for everyone. But no, they don’t want to accept that it’s not that simple. 🙄

Someone really had the nerve to tell me, “maybe if you weren’t so lazy and didn’t complain all the time, you would’ve reached your weight goal by now.” As if I don’t workout 4+ times a week, walk daily, and eat more nutritiously than they probably even do. I’m so tired 😭

It’s just bullshit. Meanwhile we often take our health more seriously than they do. I routinely have bloodwork done, I stay active how I can, I’m more aware of what I’m eating. Hell, sumou wrestlers are heavy and far healthier than most people bitching about us.

Precisely. It’s to the point where I can’t tell what actual hunger feels like bc I always feel hungry and my brain is always telling me that I need to eat.
