They do have some of the most nerves so maybe it’s a sensory thing? It could be sexual (conscious or subconscious, if you like Freudian stuff) but besides that maybe just curiosity, social conditioning (not too sure of this one), or maybe even familiarity in “ritual” (holding things like how you would wash/wipe them or to pee) I went a bit deep here but those are my thoughts lol
