It's still a thing. I've not done it, but I have talked to people who have. It's creepy on paper and kind of just boring in reality, paying taxes on the money is the real scary part, because legality is a grey area and explaining where it came from to the IRS is confusing.

Would the people who have done it do it again? What are they like independent contractors?? I know people online easily say they have done stripping for college but most I’ve heard irl is working at Hooters or Twin Peaks.

I agree, but I often never hear of sugar baby stories irl and most of them are heresy or very clearly made up. I’m just wondering was it an actual thing or was it smoke and mirrors.

It was my mother talking about my abusive father. He wasn’t rich but she was financially dependent on him and he used that to control her
