i’ve been using the lenovo idea pad flex 5 since like may 2022 (high school grad) and it’s ran everything i’ve needed it to. has a touch screen as well. i’m a construction major and use some hefty softwares sometimes, not horrible like architecture and design student, but still

I have a Dell Inspiron and my engineering roommate had the same one and liked it. Touchscreen and comes with the built in smart pen. Do not get a Mac if you’re considering engineering, and check if there are any technology requirements for your program before you buy anything

for engineering you’re going to want a windows computer. whether it’s a lenovo, windows, asus, doesn’t matter. check to see if the engineering college has minimum and maximum requirements for laptops on their IT page thing or whatev

I have Lenovo thinkpad and it’s on year six of engineering work. It sometimes screams and I have to place it on cups so it won’t overheat, but it’s still chugging along (and is touchscreen, and the original pen still works :D)
