I wanna clarify real quick too that like I’m talking about people in their early 20s— so I don’t know if it’s that they’re actually justifying lack of caution with the fact that they are insured or if it’s more that these people are just maybe young and less responsible and the financial burdens that would normally make them think twice about caring for a pet are alleviated…idk
