Ask if you can have a committee to delegate work to and if you can’t, leave. Don’t stress yourself out for something you’re not even getting paid for.

You need to leave if it’s detrimental to you and staying isn’t something you want to do. People are going to be judgmental over anything you do, but it doesn’t matter. This is your life and you shouldn’t live it according to the way other people think you should.
