I’m too old to be just now figuring this out but I finally understand that lip liner is supposed to go UNDER your bottom lip line. I honestly thought it would look dumb but it instantly upgrades my makeup looks x1000

My biggest issue was being afraid it would look like an Alabama barker situation, but as long as you kinda use the lip liner as a lipstick and continue it onto your actual lip (and blend over it with a lighter gloss or lipstick) it looks great! It’s also way easier to draw an even line if you just follow the natural curve of your lip
