This bouta be soooo unpopular. But I've stayed with my bf after he did some horrible things because the key is HE NEVER DID IT AGAIN. Like you get one chance

i think most of the time it’s more about breaking trust that the other person will never get back, or growing resentful in a way their apologies will never heal—in those situations even if they never act that way the damage is done & it’s best to leave. varies from person to person.

I think this is a very mature take 🤷‍♀️ it’s unrealistic to have someone who’s a saint

I agree with you. There’s always exceptions but my ex did something he shouldn’t have in the beginning of our relationship but I decided to talk it out with him bc I really liked him and despite what happened, still wanted to be around him and he owned up to his actions and could tell he was really carrying the weight of his actions. I think that would’ve been enough for someone to leave forever but im glad I gave him another chance

No totally agree. If you can't trust that person even after they have showed you they've changed the relationship is probably not good to stay in. Hes done some things that have really hurt me but he has shown me genuine remorse and changed his actions

That's great! I think my bf and I did a LOT of growing up together we started dating relatively young and if he did any of that now or again I probably would have left but we were able to get past it so

Also everyone is different I had a friend whose bf cheated on her . . . Twice. I'd be gone if I was her but they've talked about it and she feels like they've been able to move forward. I'm sure the things I've forgiven would be way past other people's boundaries too so to each their own

I don’t think anyone is expecting anyone to be a saint but there’s some things I would never do to anyone that I’d expect the people closest to me not to do. Some things should already be there in my opinion if I allow you into my world. This is like the other side of how you think. Thats why i personally only allow one chance.

Yeah that's super fair. I think we all probably have things that would be an automatic no.
