Every time I come home for break I just see my brother taking advantage of my parents and them refusing to do anything abt it. I told my dad I wasn’t taking the trash out bc it’s my brother’s ONE CHORE and they got mad at me for going “tit for tat”

Like no way I come home & am expected to do hella chores, pay a bill, buy groceries, & cook dinner (which I don’t mind) when my brother thinks a $200/mo electric bill is enough for him to do NOTHING. Like maybe if u guys were more petty it wouldnt be a struggle to get him to take the trash out. He’s TWENTY FOUR

This but with my sister. She threw a temper tantrum because I got out of college debt-free and she won’t. I got a full ride scholarship and worked full time while in school, mind you. My mom has paid half of her tuition bcos she got no scholarships and gets fired from every job she gets

She has to drive to *another town* for her current job bcos she’s worked or applied everywhere in my town. To the point where she has a reputation. I had someone learn my last name and ask me if I was related to her (in a negative way) And she says my mom is abusive bcos she cooks dinner most nights and won’t give her money for Starbucks/mcdonalds/pizza/whatever AND my mom is letting three of sister’s friends live at the house for free bcos they need it (which I support ofc but you get the pic

My brother’s gf stays the night like 5-6 days a week and my parents allow it. She basically lives here and she doesn’t do shit either. I take leftovers for lunch to work and I’ve gone w/out lunch four times in the past week bc they’ll come in, get a plate w/out asking (even if there’s not enough for everyone) and then go to their room. It’s infuriating
