it usually happens when you didnt get the validation u wanted from your dad growing up so you’re seeking it in other people, which is a normal reaction from a psychological standpoint but probably worth working on in therapy 😀 or if you had a healthy childhood, maybe there’s just a specific type of person you’re comfortable with?
