one of my last semester students was shot in the chest on halloween and i am sick and fucking tired of horrible things happening and the solutions being ignored. this could have been avoided. i hate this country

Let me tell you, as someone who lives in a very pro-gun area, the reason they don’t want gun control is because they don’t want restrictions on what they can get because “we shouldn’t be punished for knowing gun safety”. It does not occur to them that there are people out there that, for one reason or another, should never have access to a gun for the safety of themselves and others.
