if it makes you feel any better it’s universal. I know someone at 500+ applications to positions he’s qualified for and nothing to show for it

thank you :/ literally all my irl friends have good jobs/internships and i hate how much they pity me when i tell them i’m working at a daycare 45min away for <20hrs a week at minimum wage because literally no one else would hire me

The last job i applied to is Aldi the grocery store as a shelf stocker. I even have a bit of stocking experience. I didn’t even get a message they chose someone else they just ghosted me. This is how lots of people without a job or with a shitty are.
