What happens when they discover the baby would be born suffering from an incurable and painful condition, or when the mother experiences severe health complications from the pregnancy? If they’re not open to the idea of abortion then they shouldn’t be getting anyone pregnant

A lot of people with incurable chronic conditions that make their lives miserable choose to kill themselves. The difference between your made up scenario and abortions is that one is a fully formed and conscious person and the other is a part of a uterus with less brain function and situational awareness than an insect
