My hot take is that people are getting WAY too comfortable using the word bitch against women. I don’t care if you are a woman or not, stop using gendered slurs.
A bitch named Emma will fuck you over one way or another.

Agreed. I’ve called cunt (used in a misogynistic way, not in a reclaimed “cute” way) a slur and have gotten mocked to hell on here for it. Like maybe it’s just bc I’m older, but that was very much an unspeakable word until only the last few years

Yeah it’s been so acceptable recently and I’m not cool with it either. They are definitely both gendered slurs

Mind you i said that bc a user called someone a cunt over love island spoilers and got a bunch of upvotes for it. I was like “what the hell is going on” 😭. It wasn’t even like the person being called a cunt really said anything, they were just being dismissive and kinda petty for dropping spoilers too soon

Nono like I will never try and tell a woman, femme, or AFAB person not to say it but I’m soooooo grossed out by the way cis men (yes they gay ones too) get so comfy throwing it around and saying they’re reclaiming a word that wasn’t even theirs to reclaim in the first place!

I will never tell a woman what words they can and can’t reclaim but I don’t support the misogynistic usage of words against women

Very true! I will point out to other women when they are being sexist and using it in a sexist way, but like men shouldn’t be using it period.
