One time I took an exam where half the questions were missing because of a printing error and the professor told us to take it for now because it was discovered during the exam itself. A couple days later he sent an email saying he graded them and that if you wanted to retake the full test you needed to schedule a time to do so but I managed to get an A on the half test so I said f that and kept the original grade.
