me. it’s not realistic in the U.S. tbh and i fear will only drive a further divide between the sexes. if it’s like a personal choice, by all means. but to try to say that all women should go thru w it .. idk i just think it’s a bit extreme, when women could just not do the b’s with shitty men
tbh i agree 🤏 i dont think any type of movement is realistic in the US rn cause most ppl are too selfcentered for that 🤏 in a "too worried about making enough for food to be worried about ur struggling neighbor" type way 🤏 but i dont think a movement like this further divides the sexes cause i mean 🫴 that divide is damn near at rock bottom especially with how mainstream it is to be an incel rn 🫴 so i personally dont think that the divide can be remedied by just dating "good men" ☝️
☝️ because said "good men" could also be the time to turn around later and switch up on you like we've seen 🫴 but thats not to say i think all men are bad or that everyone should stop dating men in general 🫷🫸 i think everyone can do whatever they want 🫴 but i think having a moment of pause to reflect on the type of guys you've been dating could also do some good 🫴 and just for me at this moment, the 4B movement is the way to go 🤏
i think you’re probably over estimating the amount of problematic incels, your perception is probably inflated by seeing them online. in reality it is still a very small percentage of the male population. i think there are great strides to be made in terms of gender equality and better relationships between men and women, but in reality there are still many people finding happy healthy relationships
its not tho? like i only used incels as an example, there's so many women out there who get with men thinking they're good and that man then turns around once they're married and starts treating her like shit. Hell, it even happens when ppl just date and like imo that's not just a "u need better standards" thing. Like to me, how ur phrasing it sounds like ur blaming women's choices for the situations they find themselves in instead of blaming it on the man who put them in that situation in the -
first place and i just cant get behind that. Like yes u can always find a gem in the dumpster, but like how many diseases and other dangerous shit are u willing to put urself through to find that? like if you want to continue to date men that IS fine but u cant realistically just be like "just up ur standards" when realistically plenty of men lie about who they are and what they really think just to get with a girl they think in the moment is cute. like me saying 4B is the way to go is just -
don’t mean to put the blame on women for not knowing, im more specifically talking about women who choose to stick around and continue to complain about a man even after they’ve seen his true colors. which seems to be extremely common unfortunately. still- the ultimate blame is on the men for acting shitty, but i find it hard to fully empathize with women who continue to forgive men (when there is a perfectly safe and realistic way of getting out of the relationship)
and i don't want to seem bragyy or above anyone at all, it is unfortunately common for women to be played by men and i'm in no way above those women, but i think since implementing higher standards for myself, exuding a level of confidence and "take no shit attitude" and getting better at being able to read people the quality of men in my life has improved drastically. i completely understand why i sound annoying asf saying that but it’s true
thats not really a brag imo and i mean thats cause u decentered men in ur life no? and i know the 4B movement is way more than that cause those korean men are.... something.... but imo decentering men is part of that movement just like how i'd consider both decentering men and the 4B movement as a whole to be femenist because it forces men to empethize with women and see them as living beings who think and feel in very similar ways that they do -
cause i mean 🫷🫸 and someone correct me if im wrong 🫷🫸 was the whole "decenter" men thing not inspired by the 4B movement? like for the wonen of korea to begin the 4B movement they had to learn to put themselves before the men they were giving a chance to, which imo is what ur doing. u learned to put u and ur needs at the center, as you should, and because of that ur able to discern which men are going to treat u the way u should be treated, and i'm of the belief that more women should do that
honestly i don’t think i ever centered men or relationships in my life, like there was never really a switch over for me. but i am actively dating men at the moment, on the apps pursuing connections etc. i think there is an entirely healthy way of doing that that doesn’t “center” men in your life.
