But my therapist said these things can help 1) journaling 2) writing about it and burning it 3) not calling it an “incident” and straight up saying what it is and who did it 4) grounding when having flashbacks or a ptsd episode 5) yoga and meditation 6) when doing intimate things saying aloud “x is not here” or “no one who I don’t want to be here isn’t here.” And stopping immediately when having negative reactions
