i feel u😔sometimes it’s like my body does the physiological responses to rejection (like crying, being embarrassed) before my brain even registers it so like i’ll be completely fine but now im crying and just have to roll with it and it’s hard to get ppl to understand that

Don’t shame yourself tho, you don’t actually believe the world revolves around. Most of the time it’s just trauma being triggered

Not exactly true. Extreme insecurity, especially about rejection, can be expressed as selfishness. People who have these traits find it difficult to empathize with other people or take accountability for their actions. So to them, the world feels like it revolves around them.

Other times, it’s expressed by people pleasing behaviors. It depends on how the person processes distressing information.

RSD isn’t about selfishness especially when it stays just inside your head. we’re talking RSD not extreme insecurity. I’ve found most with rsd to be extremely empathetic. Even still, deep insecurity usually comes from trauma, too

And either way, it’s not helpful or effective to shame yourself that if you’re trying to become resilient to triggers
