I know specifically that my family at least on one side came here in the early 1800s. And then literally never spread across the country and have ALL continued to live where I am rn ..

Yeah I guess but the place they moved to is where all the Germans went and made it kinda a hub for their culture. and we still have a lotttt of German and oktoberfest festivals (go to a min of one per year) and German food staples and restaurants and more stuff. But ofc it’s also very American
