the way they try to force that shit just feels so unnatural to me. and honestly, it’s the expectation that women are supposed to cook that actually repels me from the kitchen. i want to learn how to cook bc i genuinely want to and think i’d enjoy it, but NOT bc it’s something that’s expected of me as a woman. and ironically, that expectation is exactly what has held me back from even learning how to cook in the first place 🤦🏾‍♀️
