its not that treatment for miscarriages are explicitly being banned, its that doctors treating miscarriages can be seen as abortion care and therefore less doctors are willing to do miscarriage treatment bc of the chance of losing their license so women have to suffer bc maga and extreme christians dont actually care for women or life which is so incredibly fucked up

To add to this, the medical term for a miscarriage is a spontaneous abortion. Miscarriage care is literally abortion care. When politicians write laws without consulting healthcare professionals, they can very easily make miscarriage care technically illegally (or a gray area). They really need to stay out of it.
