This is my bf’s mom but I think she was convinced that he would choose her over me because she’s constantly trying to hold stuff over him to remain in control but idk why I was so blind in thinking she really cared when all she really wanted was control over me so she could still have control over my bf but when she saw she couldn’t control me she kept plotting to sabotage the relationship like wtf

She is, thankfully. She was super manipulative and toxic, the kind that only showed her true colors after months of living together when I made it clear, among other things, that I wouldn’t let her control who I dated and that I could exist independently of her. She NEEDED control over other people. If it wasn’t for my amazing best friend helping me keep my head on straight, and my amazing new roommates (moving in with them in 2 weeks) I would’ve genuinely lost it.
