Postpartum depression is different than postpartum psychosis first of all. Second, a lot of the critique over this case is about the investigation and whether or not she is actually the one who did it. Because let’s be real the evidence does not strongly support that enough to not have reasonable doubt. But so many men out here think that we all believe she did it and believe she should be free. No. IF she did do it she should be in a mental hospital for psychosis, NOT just free.
I have not seen ANYONE supporting that she killed her kids. I’ve seen people bringing attention to psychosis and saying that she was failed by not adequately receiving the help she was asking for and being over medicated. That’s different than saying “yeah she killed them and I support her free her” like what?
I have not seen a “me too” movement over this that’s why I’m asking. But if they are showing solidarity in not receiving adequate help over postpartum struggles, that does not mean they are posting the TikTok trying to seek the help now. Do you know how often women are dismissed by their doctors over stuff like this? They could be sharing their past experiences with this.
