Im engaged but dont know what to do about my last name, i almost feel heartbroken to get rid of my last name but I wanna take his. Hyphenating it would make the last name so long💔

Take a little time after you get married and try out your new last name socially without changing it legally. If you like it, change your name legally

I’ve always said I’ll take the cooler name. My fiancé happened to have the cooler name so we’re both going to use his but he jokes that we should do a mashup of our names to create our own. My mom did the maiden name as middle name thing. So many options!
