and like 99.99999% of women would never judge/shame/mock/laugh/degrade etc a man bc he cried but a good amount of men do all the time even raising their sons not to cry, and then they try to blame women when it’s just one of the many negative affects misogyny creates

The REALLY fun part is when you realize that societally they’re more allowed to beat women than cry 🙃🙃🙃

it makes me SO HAPPY when guys cry in front of me, like they’re breaking a cycle. in shows when they have men crying, especially black men since the pressure is more intense, it feels so bittersweet. like aw they’re sad but also yes, emotions! i always feel bad when guys feel like they can’t cry or show emotions. bottling up emotions just makes things worse

Unfortunately, I’ve met a few women who don’t like it when men cry or are like too emotional, like my sister specifically, but I criticize that to her all the time bc wtf.

i don’t love it in certain situations because my ex would cry to manipulate me and get his way sexually. but crying because of sadness or emotion and not manipulating people is never a problem to me

That’s totally valid, manipulative behavior is never good.
