how is her body gonna do that when it needs the brain to tell it to do that? brain dead means no organ can function on its own anymore, that's why she was on life support and she became a human incubator

Yeah but hormones have a lot to do with body function as well. If her body was able to keep the baby alive this long Im wondering if the hormone shift from delivery and expelling the placenta would do it. I’m sure there’s been a lot of medical intervention to keep baby alive but imo if she doesn’t produce milk it’s just one more nail in the coffin of just how fucked up this is (not trying to say it’s not already awful)

ur brain is what tells ur body to produce hormones, ur brain tells ur body how to do and produce everything it needs. Her body wasn't what was keeping the baby alive, if it was then she wouldn't need to be on life support. Like brain dead doesn't mean ur in a coma, brain dead means that ur body will lose all functions in like a couple hours (days? i honestly dont know how long) because the brain can't tell the rest of ur body how to keep u alive
