That’s an ultimatum used to control the other person. Boundaries are about you. It’s more like “ *I* can’t(or won’t)_ so I will _ if you _”

reminder that boundaries aren’t “don’t do x” boundaries are “don’t do x or I will do y”. saying “don’t come in my room without knocking” is fine but doesn’t get the point across like “don’t come in my room without knocking or I will start locking my door”

They said “don’t come into my door without knocking or I will start locking my door”- which isn’t that bad. But I don’t think wording it like that works most times. Too many people use boundaries the wrong way when it’s actually aiming to control what a person does (and that’s the part I’m disagreeing with)
