Mind you, the test to prove they were innocent was a double edged sword. If they were thrown in water and sank (and often drowned), they weren’t a witch and were innocent. If they floated, they were a witch and would be stoned to death or killed in some other way.

My point is that when women are accused of WITCHCRAFT, they were killed for it. Now when men are accused of RAPE, all they do is write an essay.
