No you’re real for this I get it. I used to have a friend who was super rich and her parents paid for her out of state tuition and her rent and literally everything for her because she doesn’t have her own bank account but then at the same time she’d refuse to pay me back for stuff. Meanwhile I’d have $20 to my name and an empty fridge. Pissed me off so bad.

I’m sorry that you have to deal with that, that genuinely sucks and seems really scary:( But I also think it’s a bit ignorant to assume that rich people’s only worry is mental health. That’s very real too and none of our problems should be at competition with another. Though, I’m guessing you thought of one person in particular when posting this.. I get your frustration though. Some are unaware of their privileges.

yea true a lot of rich people do also have health issues and family issues and things like that. where i get angry is they have the means to get help with those things. they can afford a doctor. they can afford therapy. they can afford insurance lmao. i can’t afford any of that.

all of that to say, yes you’re very right, all issues are valid and vary from person to person no matter their financial status. but when people have the money to solve (or at least help) those issues, and aren’t grateful for that, i get reaaaallll mad lmao

both my parents didn’t grow up with much money so they instilled it into me and my brother at a young age😭 heard a lot of “when i was you’re age we could never do this/have this” which kept me grounded

That’s totally fair and valid. A lot of people don’t realize how good they have it in certain areas, especially rich people. Though I do sympathize with those who struggle in that department too. Sometimes things like depression play a role in one’s ability to see the good they have.
