ethical question: we have an agreement that if we start having sex w/ seeing other ppl we let the other person know for safety reasons. if i get intimate w a guy but we don’t have sex should i still tell him or should i wait until i actually have sex?

I’d still let them know. They’re still your partner and you should trust each other and feel open to say anything along those lines in that situation

Definitely worth having another conversation about, I personally would say yes but some people would rather not hear about things like that. Seems like yall already have pretty open communication so I would just ask how they feel about it

i mean we’re not official that’s why the lines are a bit blurred. i think it would be be awkward to say smthn when i haven’t had sex yet and then have to clarify that and then have the conversation AGAIN once i do… but also from a health perspective i could get stds from any contact w genitals so im thinking i should just tell him either way

I think this would definitely fall under the “seeing other people” part of your agreement. I’d tell them and ask if they are comfortable with that level of detail surrounding it outside activities or if they’d rather know less
