As a Swiftie, I do agree but can I kind of explain a perspective? Taylor has been a big part of my life since 2006. The interviews, movies, tours, and of course, all the music. She has an eloquent way of stating exactly how you’re feeling through every stage of life, so yes it is honestly like growing up with her. It’s def weird to some, but understandable as someone who’s been resonating with her music for almost 20 years.
I’m a swiftie and I’ve always drew a line. I don’t know her but I relate to her music. We’ve seen her through heartbreaks through music & more. It’s more of a deep connection to the music (at least for me) and since she has written nearly are her music about her own life, people feel like they know her. Yes, there are hardcore parasocial swifties out there but there are good ones too. If that all makes sense
