it’s so hard to pretend to be happy with pregnancy announcements when it’s so common for mothers to say if they could go back they wouldn’t have kids. if i love you i don’t wanna celebrate that 😭
If I’m being honest sometimes I forget people actually want kids. My first reaction is like fear and anxiety for the woman and not excitement. I be thinking like omg this is gonna be so hard for her.. like I feel bad for them.

YES EXACTLY THIS. like all i can think about is how difficult everything will be and how her life is LITERALLY in danger from both pregnancy and birth. and then societally things are 100000% harder for mothers compared to fathers. none of it is fair!

Literally like you’re a mom forever but the man can just up and leave whenever he feels like it. It’s so unfair. Nothing can convince me that having children is a gift or whatever nonsense they spew to make it sound good. Absolutely nothing.
