As someone from the area, I feel Iike people in Chicago don’t even really care about deep dish and just order it normal, maybe deep dish if they have people from out of town who they want to be touristy with visiting or like once a year

I prefer ny style but my family is from Chicago and they all like the thin Chicago style. Deep dish is good every now and then but I think Chicago style is typically thin
