I hate that we’re calling ppl birds now. First of all, it’s offensive to birds and second of all it’s lowkey ableist. And just dehumanizing

so what do you suggest we call women who value men more than themselves …. i do agree it’s offensive to birds tho lmfao. patriarchy is dehumanizing so it’s fitting in that way actually

Most ppl aren’t stupid, they know deep down that it’s toxic and wrong. But human behavior is a lot more complicated than that. Our brains are wired to maintain connection bc we’re communal beings

i mean yeah lol i already agreed with you that that’s true. i just really don’t care anymore. women who feel this way and who throw their life away for men have no problem putting OTHER women in danger for male approval and to me that’s unforgivable

I guess I just have more compassion and hope that ppl can change and believe that shaming is unhelpful. I was able to change a lot when I never thought I’d be able to through twice weekly therapy for years

honestly yeah you probably do. there’s only so many times you can try to help women you care only to have that thrown in your face and have your safety threatened by the men they’re with before you stop trying. good for you!

Yeah I get that. I don’t have too many experiences with women like that bc i mostly just have one best friend. I get it
