it wasn’t bad! i think having experience with intercourse or even just tampons made it not so bad of the feeling of having something up there, but it was uncomfortable cause she went a little fast lol, but she slid the speculum in and it wasn’t very comfortable cause they have to open it to make the access wider, but i thought she was still adjusting it but she just slid it back out and i was like “we’re done???” 😂😭

i swear girl the appointment was longer than the procedure. medical history and all that good stuff. she made me super comfortable esp with it being my first time seeing her and my first pap ever. she just had a little skinny swap to collect the cells and then did a physical search for any ulcers but it was all good. had to get a breast exam for lumps and checked for any mole concerns for skin cancer and then a stomach exam making sure everything’s sitting well

haha yeah it wasn’t bad! the anticipation is definitely the worst part, but they know what they’re doing!

it’s okay! it will probably be a little more uncomfortable for you, but just ask them to go slow, and they’ll stop if you tell them to!

i had mine last month and i’m in the same boat with not much having been up there. tbh the speculum wasn’t bad but i really felt the swab on my cervix and that shit hurt and i tensed up. it will be better if you relax your muscles during it

there’s definitely pressure but it’s not painful, it’s just very uncomfortable for sure. but i’m not here to tell you right and wrong, everyone’s different! you guys are going to do great
