i’m tired of people seeing a healthy weight dog and being like “you’re starving him!!”

Whenever people see my corgi they get upset she’s not like a sausage and then they ask if she’s healthy cause “she seems thin”

It shortens their lifespan so much 😭😭 it really hurts to see

people that are like “omg your dog/cat is so chunky” YEAH THAT’S NOT A GOOD THING and the only dogs i can see being a large weight and healthy for their breeds are mastiffs and newfoundlands etc etc NOT A FUCKING LAB OR GOLDEN RETRIEVER HELLO

like dawg you’re actually killing your pets joints by over feeding them

OVERWEIGHT LABS!! the only time is like if they’re old or have like health issues
my neighbor has a german shorthair pointer & she’s slowly gaining weight because she’s old and can’t exercise as much (she still goes on a 1-2 walks a day)

but she doesn’t go out hunting anymore so she’s not as active

Golden doodles not only worry me bc of their inherent breeding, but also the people who “take care” of them ☹️

my fuckass cousins have a golden doodle who they sneak into their dorm hall but he’s hypoallergenic so it’s fine🤗🧍🏻♀️😐

i literally just sighed & anonymously reported them for having a dog in their dorm room 🤷🏻♀️ i’ve met the dog once and he’s just not right- he’s allegedly a therapy dog but i doubt it

a doodle as a therapy dog is insane they act like they’re high on molly everyday
