Hihihihi I have very similar symptoms and wanna say that there’s a very good chance Long COVID caused this as evidence now shows over 1 in 3 people ever infected with COVID are now experiencing Long COVID. Tell your doctor if your bloodwork comes back normal, your next step is to do neurological testing. I go to a PT for vestibular problems (dizziness) and an internal specialist for brain fog, just as ideas you can bring up to your doctor.
That’s awful, have you tried looking at other factors though? All of that can be caused by sleep deprivation, neurological issues, poor circulation, chronic stress, etc. none of which would show up in a blood test. Plus, those symptoms could cause each other. Maybe you get a headache first that leads to the dizziness and brain fog, which causes fatigue because existing takes so much more effort. My advice is take a look at your sleep and stress patterns, and if you’re healthy there, try therapy.
Alternatively, I read something recently about there being issues with the iliac vein in young people who were vaccinated and got COVID with similar symptoms. My doctor told me to get an abdominal aortic duplex (ultrasound) for that, so just more ideas for tests. I have an appointment with a TBI clinic for my brainfog this afternoon so I’ll keep you updated about if that may be worth taking.
OH i forgot to mention start by seeing a cardiologist. I had POTS ruled out but got a dysautonomia diagnosis at the start of my COVID journey, so there’s a chance your symptoms may be caused by something like that. Also, yeah there’s a vein in your leg that could potentially be damaged idk too much about the details. And yeah i have a great doctor who listens but my mom is a retired-nurse-turned-librarian so she’s really the one who stays up to date with long covid research
she basically sends me ideas/peer-reviewed articles and i forward them to my doctor and she tells me if they seem like a possibility. also seeing a therapist like #1 said is a good idea, i found that my mental health did get wayyy worse at the start but having a psychiatrist behind my back who believed it was more than my mental health really helped support me when getting my initial long covid diagnosis
