i think i’ve reached peak laziness. We don’t have a dishwasher and i REALLY did not want to do the dishes today so I packed up the dishes, drove across town to my parents house, and put them in their dishwasher and when their clean i’ll bring them home…

Our dishwasher broke for like 2-3 weeks and it was literal torture, especially since one of my roommates is allergic to fucking rinsing her dishes 😭 one time I came back from a trip and she left a whole ass shrimp in a Tupperware container and it was MOLDY

I get you though, I hate hand washing dishes. I hate touching the wet food and accidentally breaking my nails and getting pruney fingers 😭 a dishwasher is a minimum requirement in every rental I live in now

no exactly. and most of the time i just wash a dish right after i use it so it doesn’t pile up, but this time it piled up, plus my roommates left all of their dishes in the sink and then left for a week… so all of those dishes i was gonna have to do was overwhelming and i was like fuck it. I have to run to my parents’ house anyways.
