im just saying I feel like “hehe I hate women” humor and “hehe I hate men” humor are both bad. yes one is my more historically harmful but what’s that saying about an eye for an eye?

I get what you’re saying, except for the fact that there are very few “man hating” songs even though we have centuries of history full of reasons that we SHOULD hate men and very few men have ever had a valid reason to hate women.

never said anything about history justifying it, just that in general hate based explicitly on immutable characteristics like sex is dumb. like “someone who looked like you did horrible things so im choosing to blame you even though i dont know you personally at all” isnt justice and to act like its anywhere close to good is insane

also this whole bit about how we should hate men and men shouldn’t hate women is insane. are we really trying to objectively justify sex based discrimination rn. you can hate specific men but going after all of them is the kind of black and white mindset that kept women down in the first place and continues to make the feminist movement look like a bunch of idiot misandrists instead of an actual movement for actual equality. people like you cheapen this shit and it’s embarrassing
