i think it really depends. i need to be exclusive with someone if i’m going to date them because i don’t want someone talking to/sleeping around with other people while i’m talking to them bc i take it serious.

well, you’re an exception to this post then, but a lot of people don’t want monogamy because they genuinely only want that person- they just want to be the only person the other wants
