okay guys, i need tampon help. i swear my body just doesn’t like them. no matter how small i go, or how deep i insert, i can always feel it and its soooo uncomfortable and almost painful. i feel like i cant relax my pelvic floor. what am i doing wrong!!

I’d follow up with a gynecologist to see if there’s anything physically causing the discomfort, like vaginismus, an imperforate hymen, retroverted uterus, or endometriosis. In the meantime, you might find a disc more comfortable. They sit above your vaginal canal, in the fornices, which often makes them more comfortable for people who struggle with tampons. I know I prefer them over tampons. You can try disposable ones before committing to a reusable. SoftDisc is good.

GO BIGGER (that’s what worked for me) sometimes your flow will push out a tampon too easily!! Bigger tampons will not be more uncomfortable than smaller ones, and at least for me will stay in more comfortably when you have a heavy flow (or just a flow at all)
