my dad served in vietnam & it wasn’t by choice. his birthday was calling over the drafting thing on TV. my dad’s friend lost his leg in vietnam & the VA hospital refused to give him a mobility scooter as he got older, just sort of neglected him. the VA is an absolute joke sometimes.
