love interest sure but if a main plot point is the love interest then it ends up being about a man again🫩

Well I wasn’t really thinking about how that would be the main plot point, it isn’t in the original story either, like maybe at the beginning but after they get separated she is avoiding men and does pirating and overthrows a king’s government after he tries to force her to marry him
